Adventures in Costa Rica

Fate brought Elena and I together last summer on a trip to Costa Rica. It was there that the idea, for what is now this site, was born! Half a year later, we are sharing with you photos of the wonderful raw food adventure we had in the warm (in terms of both people and climate) and lush paradise of Costa Rica.

We encourage you to travel, forget about the borders and see yourself as a global citizen, free as a bird! Go out and meet all kinds of people, see different places and get an appreciation for the true rainbow of our humanity and cultures. Open up your mind and the possibilities  will be endless.

Have you had a life-changing travel experience? We’d love to hear how going abroad changed your perspective, who the people were that you met along the way and what they taught you.

Awesome! I used to live there briefly. Was that canopy tour in Monte Verde?

    • Amanda and Elena says:

Yes it was! We did the Extreme canopy tour and it was insane! LOVED IT :)

      • Mike says:

Extreme? Does that include that super long and high one? Where people always get stuck and need to be rescued? LOL

        • Amanda and Elena says:

We went to the park in the day and got lost. We couldn’t seem to follow a map :) The canopy tour was really long and really high at times! Extreme indeed. We were lucky to go with a group of fearless people so no one got stuck (as least as far as I remember). Elena has a really cool video of her on the “superman” line where you are actually going head first. It feels like you are flying!!

Was that the one where they cut a hole through the canopy and you’re zooming between trees? That was a brand new one when I opened it. I love Monteverde. It’s definitely in my top list of places in Costa Rica.

Yea I think thats the one! I love Monteverde too. It was my favorite place we visited :) I could actually see myself living there. I loved the community.

Nice! I really love Monte Verde, did you get to do a night tour of the park? I used to live in Manuel Antonio… totally different pace.
